Chocolate Social at Cloudforest
Details
Chocolate works its magic upon your senses like nothing else in this galaxy. Music may calm the savage beast, but chocolate soothes your soul and elevates your mood. Each variety of chocolate offers its own unique journey through a world of sweetness and complexity.
Cloudforest is a local bean-to-bar chocolatier with several delicious offerings, including their rich and velvety drinking chocolate, cardamom hot chocolate, rose hot chocolate, Ecuadorian horchata, affogato, salted caramel and chocolate tasting bars, pistachio and chocolate tasting bars, salted chocolate ice-cream, spearmint chip ice-cream, chocolate chip cookies, giant macarons, and many other delectable treats.
Cloudforest also has some of the best house-made toasted marshmallows I've ever had. Delicate toasted exterior with a light, airy, and smooth middle. They'll hand torch the marshmallow right before your eyes and add it to your hot chocolate. I had never tried this flavour combination before, but the cardamom they sprinkled over the top of my toasted marshmallow made for a truly magical experience.
If a cup of decadent hot chocolate paired with a little conversation sounds like the perfect way to ease into your Sunday afternoon, then come out and join us. Talk about upcoming adventures, fun spots you've discovered in Portland, new experiences you've had, restaurants you love, a new puppy you've adopted, spirituality, AI technology, or anything you're excited about.
Please be aware that there is limited seating at Cloudforest, so many of us will need to stand and socialize. The upside is that we'll have greater ability to move around and meet new people :)
**WHERE TO MEET**
