You will learn a step-by-step process for idea sketching and how to ideate and sketch a solution to your problem statement. What we're about

Social Innovators are a community of like-minded creators, innovators and disruptors in Austin, Texas who want to validate their ideas, launch new businesses, and come up with creative solutions while meeting new friends who can help them change the world.

The group will launch kick off during the Social Innovators Summit at SXSW on March 9, 2014 at Austin City Hall.

You'll learn new business models, frameworks and lessons learned from successful social entrepreneurs, leaders and collaborators who can help you grow your social venture.

    What we are NOT

The Social Innovators Meetup is not a happy hour, networking party or chance to sell your stuff. We encourage relationships, connections and partnering between members, but the goal is to get down to business, learn something new and take action so you can leave your mark on the world.

We like to think, learn, create new things and inspire each other.

    What to Expect

According to, the Austin, Texas MSA has more nonprofits than any other major MSA in the Southwest US. Our members want to solve big problems and give back, but we do this by building profitable ventures that can support our dreams, goals, lives and missions.

In addition to special guests, discussions and workshops, you're invited to take part in the 3-minute Social Pitch at beginning of each meeting to get feedback, support and attention for your product, service, event or idea.

Each year, we'll join forces globally at the Social Innovators Summit@SXSW in Austin, the Social Innovation Capital of the World™ !
