Wanna a Weekend Getaway! Come Fly w/Me Once a Month for an Exciting Adventure!

Who couldn't use a quick weekend getaway to revive your soul. I will plan a quick weekend getaway at the end of each month with the exception of the month of December. Also, for months such as May (Memorial Day etc) we can decide if traveling the prior week will be more cost effective.

How It’s Going Down…….
On the last weekend of each month we will hit the pavement for some weekend excitement. Some trips will be far and wide, some will be interesting and local. All that is required from you is to let go and leave the work week behind. Well, of course you must be serious when you sign up. It's ok if you want to go. But don't sign up unless you are willing to commit. These trips are for the serious at heart. I do understand that stuff happens and you may need to cancel. But don't sign up until you know for sure. I have a few other groups that participate in my travels and not being committed takes away from others who really want to participate.

With that said the first order of business is to find out where to go. So, with your help I would like for you to post weekend getaway ideas. Maybe there is a place you've wanted to visit forever and just never made it. Let's go! Maybe you have a special place that you frequent often and would love to share it with others. Do share! I will hold a monthly meeting to help it all come together starting with August 6, 2017 at some fabulous location at a time that works well.

Now for the serious stuff. The cost $$$. First I would like to say don't even consider signing up unless you can at least spare $200-500. If this is a problem then maybe these trips may not be for you. Even with a trip costing $200 all inclusive, keep in mind your spending could easily take you up to or past the $300 mark. Also, stuff happens. You need that wiggle room money. With that said I have done weekend trips hands down with $200 all inclusive (flight, hotel, food, spending). However, deals are my best friend. You can say I travel like a “rockstar” on a “pauper's” budget (LOL). The biggest expense usually won’t be the airline ticket, but the hotel. Hopefully, we can conquer some of that expense by sharing a room when possible. You are always welcome to get your own room. Sharing will be for those who don’t mind it one bit such as myself.

Now let’s get moving. I already have a trip planned with family for July, so I think the weekend of August 25th or Sept 1st would be a great time to start our adventure. So post those ideas and let’s get going.
