What we’re about
Writing can be a lonely pursuit, but it doesn’t have to be. This group is for writers who want to hit their deadlines and have a social life.
We gather to:
Share our writing goals and hold each other accountable.
Enjoy friendly conversation, coffee, or maybe even a glass of wine.
Mix productivity with connection—because creative work thrives when life is full.
Whether you’re working on a novel, screenplay, stageplay, poetry, or blog, you’ll find support, encouragement, and a group of like-minded people who get it. We’ll meet for writing sprints, check-ins, and social outings, so you can write more, stress less, and laugh often.
And because creativity is fueled by inspiration, we’ll also plan occasional trips to see Broadway shows (e.g. Chicago, New York, etc...), for that extra spark only live theater can bring.
More ideas are welcome.
Accountability here feels like having a cheer squad, not a drill sergeant. We’ll help each other stay on track with our writing goals while cheering for every little win along the way.
