Coming soon... Casual sports community based around Oxford
Social Sport® was first set up in Cambridge at the beginning of 2025 as a fun, friendly, and casual way for young professionals to meet new people and socialise through sport.
-> Age range 21-35, anyone is welcome
-> Three types of sessions; casual, coached and New Sport Every Week (NSEW).
-> NSEW - during summer we vote every Monday for the sport we will play on Sunday
-> We are a very inclusive group, and anyone with any skill level is welcome!
-> No commitment - turn up whenever you want!
-> All equipment is included.

Casual Badminton this Sunday! 🏸

Our New Sport Every Week session. This Sunday we will be playing badminton. Time and venue TBC. All equipment is provided. The event cost is £8.
Who are Social Sport?
Social Sport was set up to face two main challenges in cities like Oxford:

Limited opportunities for those moving here to meet new people and socialise genuinely.

Lack of casual sports clubs for young professionals.
We started with our New Sport Every Week session, voted for by people in our community. Since then, we have played over 21 different sports, and we play weekly sports too, which are set up based on feedback from those who join our events!
Please note this session is popular and has a set number of places. If you do not secure your place prior to attending, and the event is full, you will not be able to play.
