THIS SHOW IS A SPECIAL EDITION FUNDRAISER TO RAISE MONEY FOR WAR CHILD!
We think children should be able to be children; to laugh, play and have fun! After all, that's what we comedians do too!
We are supporting War Child who are dedicated to helping children in war-torn areas who sadly aren't able to just be carefree kids. War Child delivers life-changing services and support in communities affected by conflicts to keep children safe and help them to heal and learn for the chance of a better future. We want to do our small bit to contribute towards this.

The show will take place at de Kartoffel, a cosy German-themed restaurant on the Oudegracht. We have a great line-up of hilarious comedians, based in the Netherlands, who have all come from areas either previously or currently affected by conflict including Iraq, Ukraine, Palestine and Afghanistan. All these acts have agreed to waive their performance fee, so we can donate 100% of the ticket money to War Child.

We will also have a PRIZE DRAW open to anyone who donates to our War Child fundraiser during the show with a chance to win some great prizes!

From 14:00 – Join the Meetup!
Before the show kicks off, come by early for our pre-show Meetup from 14:00. It's a relaxed and friendly way to meet other internationals living in Utrecht, especially if you're new in town or just looking to connect. Our lovely host Gisele will be there to welcome you and introduce you to a few friendly faces. Whether you come solo or with friends, you're guaranteed a warm vibe and some easy laughs before the comedy even starts! 🐮

From 15:00 - The Show!
Mad Cow Comedy hosts an afternoon of stand-up comedy performed by various international acts, all performing in English. Utrecht-based comedian, Rachel Morton-Young, introduces a different mix of comedians every 2 weeks, so no two shows are ever the same.

Kartoffel:
Our show now takes place in the Biergarten at Kartoffel, a German-themed restaurant along the historic Oudegracht (only a 10 minutes walk from Utrecht Central Station). The venue has great, affordable food, so considering coming early for lunch, or staying for a bite after the show.
