Holiday Lights Volunteer Social -- Carol of Lights, Campbell

As the start of holiday lights program in South bay, we are re-visiting Campbell, for its Carol of Lights holiday lights winter festival.

Campbell's Carol of Lights is a suburban town holiday festival, more a community neighborhood and ugly sweater feel. We are having it as a group reunion, to kick off the holiday lights program in south bay. We do have two other similar events in mind,

• the German Christmas Market in Mountain View, and
• the Christmas in the Park in San Jose.

If you are interested in seeing or play a role in organizing more of the holidays programs, welcome to join our community hosts program.

As usual, we would participate by group volunteering in, and we would welcome people simply visit and social also. By our contact with Campbell Downtown Association, they need volunteers help in these programs:

1. Pre-event Setup 2pm
2. Popcorn stand: make popcorn 4-7pm
3. Cotton candy stand: make cotton candy 4-7pm
4. Kids play area help 4-7pm
5. Safety Monitor: watch out for safety issues 4-7pm

They do also need help for teardown, but I would strongly advise against taking that shift, unless you are a veteran and know what to do.

So the schedule would look like this:

• 2pm Event Setup
• 4pm Other volunteer shifts / or visitors
• 7pm Finish Group dinner social

For people wanting a social experience, welcome to join us at 2pm, so we could have some social time. As usual, our social program would be squad based, with possible regroup/remix. And you don't need to wait till finish.
