BBQ, Picnic, and Beach day on Toronto Islands

Summers are short, so let's spend the entire day sucking all the Vitamin-D we can on the longest day of the year. So expect some good food, drinks, music, games and an amazing day at the beach.

There are charcoal bbqs on the island, if we get lucky, we can take one. I will also be bringing my electric bbq just as a backup.

Apart from food, I will bring football, frisbee, bluetooth speakers, cutlery, and of course some party vibes. It will be a potluck as always and we expect you to treat the group as a family and share food/drinks like such.

We will set up closer to the beach for those who are interested in taking a dip into Ontario Lake.

In case you didn't know, the island is surrounded by water. haha
So we will need to take the ferry from Harbourfront and its cost is ~10CAD for a round trip. There are watertaxis as well, which are quicker, you can take those and come back on the ferry for free. Choose your ride or swim to the island if you wish.

Cost will be $5 per person. It will cover the cost of the things I will be bringing and partly go towards the monthly meetup payments of the group. You can etransfer it to yonarkbajaj@gmail.com
