Summer 2023 Update

The Summer 2023 Update is not an actual event, this is a tool to maintain open communication between the members. RSVP to participate with other members in the real-time Event Chat here or join the Discord.

NEW LEADERSHIP, NEW IDEAS, AND NEW LOCATION?

• Hi, the new Organizer of the group is KK.
• Anna and Chris have stepped down from their Organizer roles.
• Members who want to host new events around the U-District or Seattle is open in efforts of making new friends.
• We now have a list of games behind the counter and outside in the wild around Oasis in this Summer 2023 update.
• If you find any games with missing pieces let us know so we can add it to the "Games with Missing Pieces List."
• The group has decided to stay at Oasis on the Ave, due to space limitations of other venues.
• We are not locked to the Oasis on the Ave location for events.
• We can expand beyond Friday night from Oasis as members are encouraged to host other events outside of Friday nights.
• Well-known members are welcome to raise their own ideas of trying alternative venues for Friday nights. Yet, we hope you understand finding another place on the Ave that can host 25+ people in a single span of 4 hours is time consuming. Thus, we kindly appreciate if those members do their own research first before requesting moving the entire group to a new location for Friday nights.
• RSVP to events are very important in keeping our group active on Meetup.
• RSVP activity helps new and returning members find our events in the Meetup search.
• We are here to build a community!
