Social40+ Goes Fringe: Adore Händel’s Birthday Party

If you haven’t met Adore, you’re in for a treat. They're an extraordinary entertainer and friend of Social40+, created and performed by classically trained baritone and comedian Luke Belle, Adore is a pansexual, time-travelling drag character with Marie Antoinette-inspired glamour and a colourful romantic history.

Think powdered wigs, extravagant costumes and operatic vocals, paired with mischievous storytelling and a decidedly modern sense of humour. Adore literally has the audience at their fingertips, with these lucious tones of pure delight, mesmorizing whilst meticulously playful. We adore, Adore - and so will you!

Adore is turning 269, a whole 10 years younger than myself ("79" was a good year) and you’re invited to the celebrations!

Alongside their long-suffering assistant Peter, Adore has a party to throw and another volume of their legendary "Little Black Book" to unveil. Naturally, things don’t quite go to plan…

This is Luke's 3rd season of their "Little Black Book" at one of the most famous Fringe festivals in Australia. I wouldn't be surprised if you make an appearance yourself tucked up within these almost invisible inks you naughty little minx.

Expect a theatrical evening of drag cabaret, romantic misadventures and a touch of whodunnit, with moments of heart among the hilarity.

Come along for the show and enjoy a Fringe outing with fellow Social40+ members. It’s an easy excuse to get out, meet people and share a few laughs.
