What we're about
The aim of this group, is to provide a space whereby people who are socially anxious, shy or have a fear of public speaking can spend some constructive time working through their issues with the support of others with similar experiences.
The group is founded on a self help approach, whereby all participants are encouraged to face their fears by participating; however are under no obligation or pressure to do so. Thus there is no requirements of attendance and there are no expectations put on attendee's and are free to participate or not to.
This is not a therapy group, the main aim is to provide a space whereby people can experiment with new behaviour's, challenge the self and learn to see themselves and others in a new way, supporting a growth process and self exploration.
The activities in the group can be therapeutic, however I make no claims that the group will provide a solution to individual problems.
