Pitch Your Friend & Introduction Rounds - Dating + Friendship <3
Details
Meet people the old-school way; through friends, good conversations, and a night that’s actually fun, not forced.
Meeting new people works best when it’s done with a little intention.
That’s the idea behind 'Have You Met? Pitch Your Friend' - a Human Matchmaking evening built around thoughtful introductions, real conversations, and the kind of structure that makes connection feel easier, not forced. And of course - a lot of laughter!
This isn’t about walking into a room and hoping for the best (been there, done that eh?!). We will create the flow for you, gently and playfully, so you can focus on being your fabulous self instead of wondering who to talk to or what to say.

The night starts with friends pitching their friends to the room. These are warm, sometimes funny introductions for romantic and platonic connections. Bring along those funny stories about your friends and tell the others why they should absolutely get to know them! It’s a great way to get a feel for who’s in the space before you ever say hello.
From there, we move into Slow Introductions - our alternative to speed dating. You’ll be guided through a few 1:1 conversations with different people, with enough structure to keep things smooth, and enough space for conversations to actually unfold.
And then we open things up.
The rest of the night is about hanging out. Games, food and drinks, handwritten letters, DIY Valentine's card making stations, light music, dancing if you’re into it, chatting if you’re not. Reconnect with someone you met earlier or meet someone new - it’s entirely up to you.
You might leave with a new friend.
You might feel a spark.
You might just have a really great night and meet people you’d never otherwise cross paths with.
All of that counts - we're less about labels, more about the quality of the connections!
## What You’ll Experience
Pitch Your Friend
Friends take the mic and pitch their friends to the group. Romantic and platonic pitches are both welcome. You can either do a Powerpoint presentation or a presentation format of your choice (you want to give out flyers? go for it!). Make it interesting, witty and memorable!
No pitching yourself. No awkward bios or marketing yourself on apps. Just real introductions that make meeting people feel easier.
Slow Introductions (yes it's like Speed Dating but without the rush!)
A calm, nervous-system-friendly alternative to speed dating. You’ll have a few longer conversations, with guided movement so nothing feels chaotic or rushed. We will take care of the flow - you just have to bring your authentic self.
Mingle, Play & Hang Out
After the structured part, the night opens up. Grab a matcha or a snack, join a game, write a handwritten note, make a Valentine's card, dance a little, or just enjoy the room. This is where things deepen or stay light, naturally.
