Good morning!

I am excited to announce that the application for the 2013-2014 Global Health Corps fellowship are open until February 3rd! Each year, we select exceptional and driven people with varied skillsets and experiences to participate in the fellowship.

I am reaching out to you today because I know that Social Entrepreneurs & Changemakers is connected to emerging leaders who may be interested in our more specialized, international fellowships.

In case you’re not familiar with our program, here’s a short background: Global Health Corps is mobilizing a global community of emerging leaders to build the movement for health equity. We place talented individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds in high impact roles in NGOs and government agencies in sub-Saharan Africa and the US for one year.

Examples of our fellowship positions include:

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Dignitas in Malawi
Research and M&E Officer at Partners in Health in Rwanda
Fundraising and Development Officer at Kyetume in Uganda
Training and Technical Assistance Implementation Officer at Partners in Health in Boston, USA

A complete list of our placement positions can be found here: http://ghcorps.org/co...

A key part of the GHC fellowship is support – fellows are provided housing, a living stipend, medical insurance, transportation, mentorship and professional development training. During the fellowship year, fellows collaborate, innovate, and create sustainable and impactful change.

This year, applicants can apply for 3 positions that match their interests and skills, from project management to monitoring and evaluation, engineering, communications and more. We are looking for people from a broad range of sectors and disciplines. No prior health experience is necessary! The only requirements are that applicants be 30 years old or younger, hold a university degree, and be proficient in English.

Applications close February 3, 2013. Please apply at: http://ghcorps.org/co...

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact Jennifer Gottesfeld, U.S. Program Manager at jennifer@ghcorps.org.

We look forward to reviewing your applications!
