FRIDAY's AFTER WORK SOCIAL DRINKS: Free Entry Meetup from 6pm. "Avenue on Sussex" is the perfect inside/outside venue. Mix/Chat, enjoy meeting new people.

"Greenway Walk" New Section opened recently. Central-Glebe-Rozelle-Leichhardt-Lewisham-Dulwich-Hill-Tempe. Don't miss this interesting 15km "Inner Suburbs" walk. Mostly flat as a pancake, perfect for beginners who dislike too many stairs or "HUGE" hills!

Central Station Start, down Railway Colonnade Drive to the famous "The Goods Line" then zig-zag our way to Wentworth Park. Go across to Glebe Rowing Club, sneak past Blackwater Bay Park, Bicentennial Park, Jubilee Park and Federal Park.

from Glebe Foreshore Park, we cross over the Pedestrian Bridge at Whites Creek. Walk between Rozelle Wetlands, with some fun interesting pathway variations.

We emerge at Cohen Park Tennis Courts. Whites Creek Valley Park to Memorial Park. Toilets and water fountains along these walkways. Exciting new areas of Sydney!

HALF WAY stop for 30 minutes at "Son of a Baker" cafe/bakery. We can sit at tables/chairs inside or outside, the perfect spot, food to buy or grab from backpack!

"Hit the Road again" wandering along to Pioneer Memorial Park (nice bathrooms). Afterwards, Blackmore Oval, then "THE GREENWAY TRACK START" to Cafe Bones.

Down the Greenway Track to Taverners Light Rail, good place to exit if desired or Lewisham or Dulwich Hill. Now we enjoy the walk to Tempe, easy as!!!!

Distance: 15km (about 4 hours)
Difficulty: Moderate because of distance, exit spots. Paths Walk, Parks Walk! Easy Walk!

Walking Pace: An easy steady pace at 4km-4.25km per hour.
Bring: water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, a raincoat in case. Bring your happy personality too!

We start from Circular Quay, up 52 stairs to Government House, past the Garden Amphitheatre behind Sydney's Conservatorium of Music to the Calyx, exhibiting floral displays. From here we zig zag through hidden gardens, past the Sydney Fernery to Palm House! We then leave The Botanical Gardens. (Park No.1)

Cutting through the Art Gallery of NSW to (Park No.2) Who would have ever thought of this? Amazing! "Sydney" Parks. fantastic! Enjoy today! Let’s do it! (Domain Section)

Secret Pathways to "The Big Matchsticks" sculpture in Woolloomooloo. 'Yes" we can touch them! Not far away is the New South Wales Police Force Wall of Remembrance. The names on the wall represent 350 policemen and policewomen in NSW who died on duty since 1850's. Quick 3 minute visit and rehydrate.

Suddenly ahead is the bronze statue of Robert Burn, regarded as the national poet of Scotland. From here we sneak through the back of Saint Mary's Cathedral heading to Hyde Park (No.3) I take you through an area (not the usual path).

As we walk past the "Pool of Reflection" we get to the Anzac Memorial. Next we hit the "GoGet CarShare pod" reserve. just a little variety treat. Onward to Belmore Park (No.4), just in site of Central Station. Half Way 15 min stop at the perfect pub.

"Prince Alfred Park" (No.5) is home to a 50m heated, outdoor pool. Walking through the park until we get to Reconciliation Park (small), then hidden lanes around Australia Post Strawberry Hills. Redfern Park (No.6) is next, entry at the World War 1 Memorial.

T.J. Hickey Park is small, more like a reserve, Waterloo Garden then Captain Cook Sundial & Plaque plus James Cook Garden. Last big Alexandria Park (No.7) coming up so tour nearly over. Walk past Eveleigh Green to "Brew Dog" and Redfern Station.

Hungry, Thirsty, the most amazing "Brew Dog" No-nonsense chain bar specialising in the Scottish brewery's craft beers, with regular guest brews. We finish here at the Redfern Railway Museum and Eveleigh Locomotive Workshop. Let's Enjoy!

Difficulty: Very Easy 3 hour walk, plenty of spots to leave the walk.

EASY & BEAUTIFUL SCENIC SYDNEY HARBOUR WALK: Flat all the way, perfect for beginners. Come on, we need to exercise. Enjoy amazing scenery while walking around the world's most beautiful harbour to Sydney's NEW Fish Market!

CIRCULAR QUAY START: to "First Fleet Park" past Overseas Passenger Terminal onto Hickson Road Reserve then under Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Next: Walsh Bay, Barangaroo, King Street Wharf Darling Harbour, Sydney Aquarium, over Pyrmont Bridge to Maritime Museum, stop for a coffee, rehydrate at Pyrmont Bay.

Keep Walking: Visit "Life in a Suitcase Monument" through Metcalfe Park onto Pirrama Park then Pyrmont Foreshore walk Waterfront Park to Sydney's New Fish Market.

Time: 10am Start - please try to be 5-10 minutes early.
