Fundraising for Micro Budget Film Projects

Fundraising for Micro Budget Film Projects, with guest speaker Liz Manashil
How do you actually raise the money to make a micro-budget feature? Not theory, the real thing, from someone who has done it herself, multiple times over.
Liz Manashil is joining us live in The Attraction Collective on Sunday, November 8 at 6:00 PM PT. Liz wrote, directed, produced, and cast her debut feature Bread and Butter (released by The Orchard, played Hulu and airlines worldwide) and her second feature Speed of Life (aired on Showtime). Her latest film, Best Friends Forever, was just selected for Tribeca's Creator Market and Works in Progress. She also managed Sundance's Creative Distribution Initiative and co-hosts the Making Movies Is Hard!!! podcast, so she knows this world from every angle.
This is a live Q&A, so bring your questions about:
- Where micro-budget money actually comes from
- How to package yourself and your project so people say yes
- What she would do differently raising her first feature today
- Anything else on your mind about getting your film funded
Sunday, November 8, 6:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM CT / 9:00 PM ET
