Bute Park & Pint

👉 What to expect:
Join us for a Friday evening circular stroll around Bute Park followed by a pub stop at The Gatekeeper (wetherspoon's).

• if it's too busy, other options will be available on the night.

👟 Route details:
The route is 5.7km (3.5 miles) and will take about an hour to complete.

Starting at the Castle Street gate by Brodie's on the Wall we'll make our way up through Cooper's Field along the side of the River Taff, continuing to Blackweir Bridge, where we'll cross over. From there we continue north along the West side of the river before turning around once we reach Western Avenue. We'll then walk back towards the city centre through Pontcanna Fields until we reach Sophia Gardens where we'll rejoin the river trail until we're back at Castle Street.
