Cocktails & Conversation: Free Bristol Social Night & Games

A free Friday social night with ice-breaker games at Mackenzies on Bristol's Harbourside, for anyone who wants to meet new people and make friends in Bristol. Come on your own or bring a friend.

If you've had enough of the same work-home routine, or you're new to the city and still finding your feet, this is a low-pressure way to meet a few people. We're reserving the whole venue, so anyone you see is there for the same reason.

New or coming alone?
You won't be the only one. If walking into a room by yourself feels like a lot, arrive between 7:00 and 7:30pm. Our organisers will be at the door for a dedicated welcome window. They'll walk you straight over to the tables and set you up with an easy game alongside other early arrivals, so you have something to do before the room gets busy. It's entirely fine to have one drink and head off if you're not feeling it.

What to expect
The room has two halves. On the left, a mingle area to grab a drink and chat. On the right, tables of ice-breaker games: Jenga, Heads Up, Human Bingo, prompt cards and Two Truths and a Lie, plus new games being added for November. Each takes about 30 seconds to learn, and our organisers will show you how. Move between tables, or find one you like and stay.

The practicalities
