Sunny Afternoon tells the true story of Ray Davies and the rise of The Kinks to 1960s stardom, set against the backdrop of their legendary music.

Myself and another group member were meant to go to see this in 2020 (cancelled for obvious reasons) so quite excited that it's finally touring again. It's not until May 2026 but tickets are on sale now. Link to tickets and more info -https://www.atgtickets.com/shows/sunny-afternoon/edinburgh-playhouse/

I've booked seat A48 in the circle, cost is £66.50 plus booking fee and there are plenty available seats near me at the moment. There are seats nearby that are less expensive and also you can get an access discount at the Playhouse if you have a disability and sign up for their scheme. The circle has level access from the street, there are steps to get to the seats I have chosen but there is a handrail. There is a disabled toilet in The Playhouse.

Will organise nearer the time to meet before the show for food/drinks/chat
