Summer Evening Party and Social!

I am delighted to invite you to our 2017 Summer Party at this super venue in Southampton's Old Town, and arguably one of the smartest parts of the City.

The venue serves excellent beers and wines, and we again have the whole 'restaurant' area towards the back of the bar (as well as the outside balcony) reserved for our exclusive use for the entire evening.

Please note that the dress code is 'smart casual', i.e. no jeans, t-shirts, or trainers if at all possible. (Although this rule is not enforced, I would encourage everyone to make the effort, in the spirit of making this a typical 'English Summer Party'!)

In terms of getting there, please note there is limited on-street parking nearby, although there is an off-street car park about 5 minutes' walk away. However, I would encourage you to take public transport or share taxi's wherever possible, as the City is now served by an excellent network of new buses that run late into the evening, and Southampton Central Train Station is just over a mile away (short cab ride or 20 mins' walk). Alternatively, should you wish or need to stay over for the evening, the bar also incorporates a hotel upstairs that offers high-quality accommodation, as well as a restaurant that offers fantastic food.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let me know before the day. Note that places are also limited, as this event is being combined with another group that I also run, and should your plans change, kindly cancel your attendance at least 24 hours in advance, as a courtesy to both the venue and me as the host (and you may be removed from the group without notice if you become a 'no show' or post at the last minute).
