Southampton Science and Engineering Festival 2019

The annual Science & Engineering Day at the University of Southampton is taking place on Saturday, 16 March 2019. This has always been a very popular event locally, with 10,000+ visitors every year, and featuring lots of fun hands-on activities as well as interesting displays such as science magic shows and entertaining lectures. No previous knowledge of science is required!

Although events are free, we would ask you to register on the website beforehand, http://www.sotsef.co.uk/science_&_engineering_day/, where details of all the shows and activities have now been posted. Note that some of the more popular shows/activities are timed, and you will also need to booked these separately in advance.

As one of the event organisers, I am not available to host you directly on the day, but there will be lots of do and see, so just come along on your own, or with friends/relatives, as there will be plenty to keep you entertained and lots of very interesting people to talk to at the event!
