SocialLife were formed in 2017, as a friendship group based in and around Leeds.

On our home page, click "see all", and you'll find a variety of socials from Saturday night drinks, Jazz afternoons, meals out, walks, stand up comedy, movie nights, museums, art galleries, cultural art trails. We also plan ahead to ensure public events such as Pride/ Halloween/ festive season events are also covered.

As of January 2025, our new direction is "Quality over quantity". Due to this, you will see you are in a 14 day trial with us. Meetup will prompt you to input your details and after 14 days, a subscription of £5 per year is charged. This helps us run the group, plus it reduces fakes/ spammers and dormant members, meaning you can see the genuine people you are socialising with.

We understand people can often feel nervous, which is why our socials are organised by our experienced hosting team. Our aim is for SocialLife member's to have a good experience, so please ensure you have a good profile photo (so we know who to look out for).

SocialLife has one group organiser, a co-organiser and a team of assistant organisers and event hosts. This is to ensure the group runs smoothly behind the scenes. Organisers approve new members/ monitor the group & remove fake accounts or spam/ report technical bugs to meetup/ plan seasonal socials/ deal with complaints or issues.

We also have many event hosts, that organise & run their own socials to ensure members have a good experience & feel welcomed & included.
