🗓 DATE: Sunday, 10 September 2023.
⏰ MEETING TIME: 10.05am.
🚊 MEETING POINT: Gerringong station at the entry/exit.
🚆 END POINT: Kiama station.

🥾 DISTANCE: 14km - point to point.
🥾 GRADE: Easy/mostly Moderate on a relaxing pace, not slow pace!
💪🏽 Reasonable fitness recommended due to uneven rocky surface, up and down hills, a bit of stairs, walking on sandy beaches, creek crossings and rocks hopping. Tracks expected to be wet, muddy and slippery in parts.

📸 WHAT TO EXPECT:
🚶♂️This is an excellent day out with endless sweeping views of the coastline and the Pacific Ocean.
🚶Upon arrival at Gerringong station, we will begin our exciting scenic adventure on local roads towards Werri Beach and Werri Lagoon, walking on sandy beaches along coast tracks with few photo stops.
🚶♂️We will continue towards Kiama Heights with an awesome views from the clifftop with few rest stops, photo stops and selfies.
🚶We will then continue our fun day out towards Kiama station with optional visit to Kiama Lighthouse and the Blowhole.
🍹You may stay as long as you wish in Kiama town centre with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. You may leave home at your leisure.

✅ You must assess your own fitness and ability before participating in this event.
✅ You are responsible for looking after your own health, safety and belongings.

✅ You must take personal accountability for your own choices, actions and/or misadventure. If you’re not sticking with the group or getting lost during the walk, you’re responsible for finding your own way out. The group DO NOT wait for you!

✅ Keep well back from cliff edges at all times, especially when taking photos.
❎ No facilities or cafes on the trails, so please come well prepared.
❎ No smoking on the walk including during photo stops and lunch break.
✅ If you’re bringing a guest/s under 18 years old, please let me know by TEXT message for confirmation.
✅ Please be mindful and respectful to members and guest/s from diverse backgrounds. This is not a dating group. Please do not ask inappropriate questions regarding marital status, sexual orientation etc.
✅ If something’s come up, please Edit your RSVP to ‘Not Going’ asap at least by 7pm the day before. It’s only take a second!

🎒WHAT TO BRING:
👕 Comfortable outfit for the weather preferably hiking gear. Jeans or cotton t-shirt may not be suitable for this walk.
🥾 Waterproof hiking boots/shoes highly recommended due to muddy tracks and creek crossings.
💦 At least 2L of water, Hydralyte or sports energy drinks, snacks or packed lunch, hat, sunscreen and hand sanitiser.
⛑ Basic First Aid kit and a raincoat just in case of wet weather.

💵 GRATUITY:
$5 CASH per person for this event to be collected at the start of the walk.
Please bring correct change on the day to speed up the meet and greet process.
