🎅 Join us for an exciting & relaxing Xmas/New Year getaway in the heart of beautiful Kangaroo Valley. 🦘🦘

🏨 Those who wish to glam up staying at a hotel, motel, Airbnb, caravan park, farmstay in Kangaroo Valley, Nowra, Berry, Bomaderry, Bowral, Robertson etc. please book online asap as accommodation during Xmas/New Year usually booked out early.

Most of us including myself will be camping for few days at:

🚗 You may arrive at anyday & stay up to 7 days during these dates (20th December 2025 until 7th January 2026).

⛺️ The campground is about 15 minutes drive from Kangaroo Valley village centre with hotel, motel, Airbnb, caravan parks, general store, variety shops, petrol station, pubs, cafes, restaurants, museum, bakeries, kayak hire etc.
⛺️ Bendeela is a rustic camping ground & picnic area set in natural bushland on the banks of the Kangaroo River arm of Lake Yarrunga (Tallowa Dam), just out of Kangaroo Valley.
⛺️ The campground is a unique location to spot kangaroos & bare-nosed wombats in the wild.
🚗 The road is sealed accessible by 2WD. Please drive carefully, look for children & wildlife when driving at the campground.
⛺️ The campground is family friendly, suitable for beginners (we will help you pitch the tents) & seasoned campers.
⛺️ Camp beside your vehicle, picnic grounds, flushing & portable toilets, tap/drinking water are provided.
⚠️ NOTE: there is no showers or power/electricity. Please come well prepared!
🚿 I have basic shower tent that you can use. No worries! BYO shower gel.
You can also get an affordable shower tent or a shower pump online.
🚫 NO wood, charcoal or solid fuel barbecues or cooking devices can be used.
✅ Portable gas barbecues/stove are permitted except during total fire ban.

Fishing, swimming, bushwalking, canoeing & non-powered boating on the Kangaroo River. 🏊🏼‍♂️ 🎣 🦘
🛶 Kayak hire available at the campground from kayak launch area or from the town village.

💰$30 per person for research & planning for this exciting event to be PRE-PAID (non refundable if you cancel or No Show) to me by 5pm, 14th December.
💰$40 per person after 14th December for late entry & faffing around!
✅ If no payment received by 14th December, I will move you to ‘Not Going’ list!
🎫 Campsite booking fee & planned activities/day outs included.
🏕️ We have booked & paid campsites for the group (unmarked, select site on arrival) on first come first served basis.

🚗 WHAT TO BRING:
⛺️ Campers - tent & sleeping bag, comfortable walking shoes/boots, swimmers, towel, floating devices, kayak, inflatable boat, SUP, fishing gear, sunscreen, jacket/warm clothes (cooler temperature at night), food, snacks, drinks, cups, plates, cutlery, fold-up tables, chairs, gas stove, hammer, esky/cooler, pots/pans, dish liquid, wash basin, garbage bags (big garbage bins provided), gazebo or tarps for shelter, torch/headlight, basic First Aid kit,
powerbanks, cards/board or ball games, all creature comforts & anything else that can fit in your car including kitchen sink! 🛒

✅ You are responsible for looking after your own health (including your guest/s), safety & belongings.
✅ You must also take care not to put other people at risk.
📱Limited mobile reception at most areas at the campground. Telstra has a better reception.
📝 Itinerary on things to do & see, how to get to the campground, how to identify the group, campsite booking confirmation number & other info will be provided upon confirmation on WhatsApp group chat. 💬

⚠️ NOTE:
🚗 You must stop & show booking confirmation number to the security guards at the main entrance upon arrival.
❌ You just cannot rock up on the day without proof of booking!

📝 I’m planning to get there on 20th December to “secure” campsites for the group (unnumbered sites). You’re very welcome to hang out with us that day as well.
⚠️ NOTE - I will have very limited phone reception once I arrive at the campground!
