π¨ You may check online for accommodation of your choice in Orange, Bathurst, Lithgow or anywhere tickle your fancy.
π Due to Easter school holidays, accommodation will be booked out early. So start planning now to avoid disappointment!
ποΈ Most of us including myself will be camping at Lake Wallace for Easter long weekend with various activities and day outs.
π Refer Lake Wallace camping event separately if you like to camp with us or staying in Lithgow or Wallerawang near Lake Wallace instead.

π ITINERARY:
π We will meet at Orange Visitor Infomation Centre at 9.45am for toilet break and a quick briefing.
π We will start our exciting day out by 10am - bushwalk to few caves about 10 km return on a moderate trails with uneven rocky surfaces, ups and downs hills a bit of rocks scrambling.
π₯Ύ Tracks expected to be wet, muddy and slippery at few sections.
π Once we finish the caves walk, weβll visit one of the vineyards. Orange is famous for its rich cool-climate wines, diverse local produce (apples, truffles, stone fruits), vibrant food etc.
π· Youβre welcome to have a wine tasting or just chillaxing around the winery enjoying the view.
π» Depending on time that day, we will have a quick visit to Cook Park and Orange Botanic Gardens before heading back to our accommodation.

β NO facilities or cafes on the trails, so please come well prepared.
β NO smoking of any kind on the walk including during photo stops and lunch break.
β NO pets including service dogs are permitted on my walks. You may join pet friendly walking group instead.

πWHAT TO BRING πβ¨π Comfortable outfit for the weather preferably hiking gear. Jeans or cotton t-shirt may not be suitable for this event.β¨π₯Ύ Waterproof hiking boots or good grip walking shoes highly recommended.β¨π¦ At least 1.8L of water (no refills), Hydralyte or sports energy drinks.β¨π₯ͺ Snacks and packed lunch.β¨π§’ Hat, sunscreen and insect repellent.β¨β Basic First Aid kit - BandAid, bandages, anti bacterial wipes, pain reliever and hand sanitiser.β¨π§₯Light raincoat or a poncho ($2 from Kmart, Bunnings or variety shops) just in case of wet weather.
π¦ Torch or a headlight (preferred) for caves exploration.
