🌲 Let’s explore picturesque Southern Highlands with enchanting forests, beautiful gardens, museums, wineries, historic towns, awesome lookouts and landscapes.

🏨 If you wish to stay at a motel, hotel, caravan park, Airbnb, glamping etc, please check online for accommodation.
🚗 You may come and leave home at anytime.

🏨 Closest towns - Berrima, Bowral, Mittagong, Moss Vale, Bundanoon, Sutton Forest and Robertson is about 15-30 minutes drive to/from the campground.

🌲 Belanglo State Forest is predominately a pine plantation with some areas of native forest around the edges.
🚗 Just two hours drive from Sydney cbd and an hour from Wollongong, it is a popular recreation spot. Forests in this area are a mixture of pine plantations and native forests.
🏕️ Family friendly campground, about five kilometres west of the Hume Highway via Daly’s Road, an old cottage once stood in Daly's Clearing.
🌲 The site is a good level camp spot surrounded by exotic pines and a great place for a picnic year round.

🚻 FACILITIES:
🏕️ Camp beside your vehicle, picnic tables, barbecue/fire rings (byo firewood), drop toilet, walking and bike trails.
🚗 The road is accessible by 2WD and RV.

📝 NOTES:
⛺️ This is a remote unnumbered campground on first come first served basis.
💦 NO drinking water or electricity, so please come well prepared.
🛜 Limited phone reception with Vodafone. However, Telstra generally has a better reception.
🐶 Pets are allowed on leash at all times except at the National Park area.

🚙 FYI - I am planning to arrive at the campground on Friday afternoon, 15th May. You’re welcome to arrive at anytime on Friday and hangout with us.

🚕 Those arriving on Saturday morning, please arrive early to setup your tent etc and ready for mushroom hunting event at 9.45am.

🚗 WHAT TO BRING:
⛺️ Campers - tent and sleeping bag etc.
Food, snacks, drinking and washing water at least 10L, portable gas stove, pocket knife, utensils, plates, mugs, fold-up table, chairs, gazebo or tarp for shelter/cooking station, basic First Aid kit, jacket and warm clothes, beanie, thermals, blankets (cooler temperature at night), powerbank, headlight (preferred) or torchlight, camp/gazebo lights and all creature comforts that can fit in your car including kitchen sink! 🛒

🚿 I have basic shower tent that you’re welcome to use. BYO washing water and shower gel.

🔥 If no fire ban that weekend, please bring a bag of firewood per person.
📱I will check with the State Forest and RFS closer to the date for Fire Ban etc.
