🗓 DATE: Saturday, 27 June 2026.
⏰ MEETING TIME: 10.55am - late start!
🚊 MEETING POINT: Minnamurra station - at the entry/exit.
🌍 Please use Google maps, not Meetup location!
🚆 END POINT: Kiama station.

🥾 DISTANCE: 12 km - point to point.
🥾 GRADE: Easy/mostly Moderate on a relaxing pace, not snail pace!
💪🏽 Reasonable fitness recommended due to uneven rocky surfaces, creek crossings, ups and downs hills, stair climbs, rocks scrambling, walking on sandy beaches and a bit of bush bashing at few overgrown sections.
💪🏽 Tracks expected to be wet, muddy and slippery in parts.
📸 WHAT TO EXPECT:
🚶♂️ This is one of the beautiful coastal walks with awesome views all the way, along the beach and clifftops.
🐳 This walk is perfect for photo sessions, selfies and whale watching.
🚆 Upon arrival at Minnamurra station, we’ll have a quick toilet stop before starting our exciting walk to Kiama via Cathedral Rocks, along few gorgeous beaches and Bombo Headland with unreal rock formations.
🥪 We will have 30 minutes BYO lunch break on the clifftop overlooking the coastline.
🐋 After lunch, we’ll head towards Kiama stopping for photos, walking on sandy beaches along the way.
🚶🏼♀️You may also visit Kiama Blowhole and Lighthouse before heading to Kiama station.
🍹Few variety shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs in the town centre if you wish to look around or a bite to eat before heading home.

🎒WHAT TO BRING🎒
👕 Comfortable outfit for the weather preferably hiking gear. Jeans or cotton t-shirt may not be suitable for this walk.
🥾 Waterproof hiking boots or good grip walking shoes highly recommended due to wet muddy tracks and creek crossings.
💦 At least 1.8L of water, Hydralyte or sports energy drinks.
🥪 Snacks and PACKED LUNCH.
🧢 Hat, sunscreen and insect repellent ie. Bushman or Aerogard.
⛑ Basic First Aid kit ie. BandAids, bandages, antibacterial wipes, pain reliever and hand sanitiser.
🧥 Light raincoat just in case of wet weather.
🤩 Great sense of fun and adventure!

$5 CASH per person for this event to be collected at the start of the walk.

🚗 Carpark near the entry/exit at Minnamurra and/or Kiama stations.
🚙 Those travelling by car, you may offer a lift with share petrol. Please update on comments section stating your pickup location etc.
🏃♂️ Please leave home with plenty of travel time and arrive promptly.
‼️ This is a late start. If you arrive after 10.50am (after the train from Central arrived) and want to join the group, $5 Meetup fee/gratuity + $10 penalty apply for your tardiness!
