🌲 Lennox Bridge, Knapsack Viaduct, Zig Zag Railway & Lookouts 🌲🌿 🐝 🐧

🗓 DATE: Saturday, 21 November 2026.
⏰ MEETING TIME: 10.10am.
🚆 MEETING POINT: (start & finish) Glenbrook station at the entry/exit, on top of the stairs.
🌎 Please use Google maps, not Meetup maps!

🥾 DISTANCE: 13km circuit.
🥾 GRADE: Moderate on a steady pace, not snail pace!
💪🏽 Reasonable fitness recommended due to uneven rocky surfaces, ups and downs hills, lots of stair climbs, creek crossings and a bit of bush bashing at few overgrown sections.
💪🏽 Tracks expected to be wet, muddy and slippery in parts.
🌲 Tracks are mostly under the shade.
🏃‍♂️ Limited exit or get-out points that you may leave at anytime.

📸 WHAT TO EXPECT:
🚻 Upon arrival, we will stop at the public toilet block in the town centre. Toilets at the station most likely locked on weekends.
🚶‍♂️We will begin our epic walk to Lennox Bridge, a heritage-listed road bridge. This is the oldest bridge on the Australian mainland. Built from 1832 to 1833 by James Randall and other convicts.
🚶We will continue our exciting walk to Marges Lookout and Elizabeth Lookout for a photo and lunch stop.
🚶‍♂️We will then continue to Knapsack Bridge, a huge sandstone arch viaduct which was constructed between 1863 and 1865 to carry the Zig Zag Railway line across the Knapsack Gully.
🚶 After photo stop, we’ll continue to few other gorgeous lookouts before heading back to Glenbrook station on another beautiful tracks and lookouts along the way.

✅ Keep well back from cliff edges at all times, especially when taking photos.
❎ NO facilities or cafes on the trails, so please come well prepared.
❎ NO smoking on the walk including during photo stops and lunch break.
❎ If you do not wish to be photographed (randomly or group photos), please DO NOT join this event!
❎ NO pets including service dogs are permitted on my walks. You may join pet friendly walking group instead.
✅ Please be mindful and respectful to members and guest/s from diverse backgrounds. This is not a dating event.
✅ If something’s come up, please Edit your RSVP to ‘Not Going’ asap at least by 7pm the day before. It’s only take a second!
❎ Late cancellation or No Show would not be tolerated. You will forfeit the opportunity to join my future events!

🎒WHAT TO BRING:
👕 Comfortable outfits for the weather preferably hiking gear. Jeans or cotton t-shirt is not suitable for this walk.
🥾 Waterproof hiking boots, good grip walking shoes or trail runners highly recommended.
💦 At least 1.8L of water, Hydralyte or sports energy drinks.
🥪 Snacks and packed lunch.
🧢 Hat, sunscreen and hand sanitiser.
⛑ Basic First Aid Kit - BandAids, bandages, antibacterial wipes etc.
🧥Light raincoat or a poncho just in case of wet weather.
🤩 Great sense of fun and adventure!

💵 GRATUITY/CONTRIBUTION:
$10 CASH per person for this event to be collected at the start of the walk.
