🚌 Getting there by public transport:
You can reach the Flour Mill Markets easily by public transport, with several convenient options available.
🚆 TRAIN:
The market sits between Summer Hill and Lewisham train stations, both serviced by the T2, T3, and T7 train lines, and each only about a 7–8 minute walk from the precinct once you disembark.
🚊 LIGHT RAIL:
Catch to the Lewisham West stop, which is only 100m from the market.
🚌 BUS:
Several bus routes also run nearby, including the 445, 461X, N50, and 563S.

📸 WHAT TO EXPECT:
🚶‍♀️ DISTANCE: 13.5km - point to point.
🥾 GRADE: Easy peasy mostly on a flat paths.
🚌 END POINT: any bus stops along the way or at the end of The Bay Run.
🏃‍♂️Heaps of get-out points along the way that you may leave at anytime.

🛍️ Upon arrival at Flour Mills Markets, we’ll wander, discover local makers, hunt for unique finds, and enjoy great food or coffee.
🚶‍♀️After browsing the markets, we’ll continue our adventure to Hawthorne Canal along beautiful parks and reserves on fairly new GreenWay shared pedestrians and bicycle paths.
🚶After photo stop and a short break, we’ll continue to The Bay Run about 7km circuit around Iron Cove that hugs the shoreline along Drummoyne and Five Dock.
🚌 After we finish the walk, we’ll catch a bus home to the CBD etc.

🎒WHAT TO BRING 🎒
👕 Comfortable outfit for the weather. Jeans or cotton t-shirt may not be suitable in warm weather.
🥾 Good grip walking shoes or trail runners recommended.
💦 At least 1.2L of water (refill available), Hydralyte or sports energy drinks.
🥪 Snacks and packed LUNCH.
🧢 Hat, sunscreen and insect repellent.
⛑ Basic First Aid kit - BandAid, bandages, anti bacterial wipes, pain reliever and hand sanitiser.
🧥Light raincoat or a poncho ($2 from Kmart, BigW, Bunnings etc) just in case of wet weather.
🤩 Great sense of fun and adventure!
