MEET UP #25 The Mabinogion

The Mabinogion is one of the major surviving bodies of Welsh myths. The work interweaves Celtic mythology and Arthurian romance involving war, treachery, and magical elements and is derived mainly from two medieval Welsh manuscripts, the White Book of Rhydderch and the Red Book of Hergest.
The session will cover
*a brief history the manuscripts and collation into the one volume.
*mini summaries of the stories with visuals to evoke their mysterious, romantic. thematic and in places dark elements.
