Lebor Gabála Érenn known in English as The Book of Invasions is a pseudo-historical collection of poems and prose narratives in the Irish language intended to be a history of Ireland and the Irish from the creation of the world to the Middle Ages.
The Lebor Gabála centers around an origin myth which describes the settlement of Ireland and its history from the Biblical Flood narrative to the Middle Ages

The session will cover a brief overview of the mythological cycle and extant manuscripts followed by summary of Lebor Gabála Érenn with room for discussion during and after as per usual.
