Fed up with the corruption and red tape of the legal world, lawyer Steve Myers trades courtroom chaos for the quiet life of an Australian fisherman. Peace at last… or so he thinks. Then lightning strikes and incinerates his boat, and his insurance company smugly denies his claim as “an act of God.” Outraged, Steve does the unthinkable: he sues God by taking the Almighty’s “earthly representatives” to court. As faith leaders and insurers scramble to deal with the media circus, Steve, with skeptical journalist Anna by his side, turns legal logic against religious double-talk. Join us for this part courtroom drama, part absurdist comedy that takes witty jabs at divine accountability and human hypocrisy.
