Note: users will have to give up their email address when they get to that page; they’ll have to register a few minutes before the event so they can get a custom Zoom URL back in an email
Visual search is a feature built into mobile apps where a user can select something in their camera's viewfinder and immediately get info about it: product names, prices, where to buy, and more. Providers like Google, Bing, Pinterest and more all offer apps for visual search. Pinterest Lens alone processes more than 600 million visual searches per month, and the number is growing by leaps and bounds. Whether it's simply for translating a menu, or a fancier augmented reality experience, visual search has the potential to be the "next big thing."
If you work with multi-location clients, you should know about this trend and how to take advantage of it. Imagine doing a demo for your client where you take a picture of their product in Google Lens and have it immediately display the closest location to purchase it -- or better yet, scan a competitor's product and have your client's product show up as "similar."
