Adam Purnell is the Managing Director of AMP InfoSys - a security-first IT partner based in Preston.
Adam has worked in the IT industry for over 35 years, and has been MD of AMP InfoSys since 1999. Describing himself as a tech minded, detail orientated kind of guy, Adam has always had a passion for IT & Cyber Security and loves to challenge, learn and develop himself - especially as we enter new eras of our digital world, AI and an ever-changing threat landscape. When he's not immersing himself in tech stuff, he's usually out taking part in adrenaline fuelled sports, such as track racing and snowboarding.

Tom Crawley, Neon Mountain
Tom Crawley is the founder of Neon Mountain, where he helps businesses bring clarity and structure to complex software challenges. With over 25 years in software development, Tom specialises in building bespoke systems, modernising legacy platforms, and advising companies as a fractional CTO.
Prior to Neon Mountain, Tom founded and successfully exited Marimosa, a respected software consultancy serving clients across multiple industries. He has since continued to work closely with SMEs, combining hands-on engineering expertise with strategic guidance to deliver practical, scalable solutions.
Tom is passionate about cutting through the noise in tech-whether that's helping businesses make sense of AI, untangling ageing systems, or guiding teams toward better development practices.

Society1 is located on Cross Street, just off Winckley Square (PR1 3LT). It is easily accessible by bus and train.
If you need to drive, public parking is available at Fishergate Shopping Centre or Avenham Public Car Park. The Avenham multi storey car park closes at 8pm, so as this event runs later we advise that you park in the open air one or on the streets around us.Note: These events might be photographed and this content will be used in future marketing for Society1.

This is a regular meet up for freelancers, home workers, solopreneurs and alike. It is a really friendly and welcoming group aimed to provide the opportunity to meet and connect with other likeminded people working in a similar way.
Do you feel like you want to meet some other freelancers?
Do you find working from home can feel make you feel isolated?
Are you new to freelancing and would like to talk to others with experience?
Are you looking to work with other freelancers and would like to connect with the local community?These are all good reasons to come and join us.
Our meet-up starts at 10am with informal conversations over a drink and pastries. It will provide an opportunity to meet other people with similar experiences. We usually have a guest speaker who will share about their journey in the freelance world. Our speakers always inspire great questions and ideas for your freelance career.
This months speaker is Joseph Seager
Joe aka Oop North Media is an experienced creative who specializes in social media and video editing. He has worked with clients of all sizes, from other freelancers to international companies. His passion is showing the human side behind awesome companies. He has had a varied career from selling socks to wedding videography. It is sure to be a good conversation.

Ideal if you just want to attend just the meet-up. Listen to our guest speaker and meet a few other freelancers.2) Freelancer Meet-Up and Society1 Coworking Day Ticket : £21.50
This ticket includes both the meet-up and a day of coworking at Society1. It provides the opportunity to stay on after the meet-up and join us at Society1 for the rest of the day. Bring your laptop, grab a desk and work with us for the afternoon. Tickets includes the freelancer meet-up and an afternoon of coworking 10am - 5pm. Tea, Coffee and biscuits are included in your afternoon work pass.About Society1:

When you arrive for an event at Society1 ring the buzzer near the front door to gain access then report to reception to get checked in.
