This week, a strange and selfish version of Socrates Cafe, mostly for regulars (newcomers somewhat welcome :-) ). We will vote for one of the following questions only.... It's my Birthday and I'll ask my questions if I want to. You would ask them too if it happened to you. Then, if the Karaoke Gods are willing, we may sing our little hearts and brains out!

Is it harder for intellectuals to fall in love? Are some branches of knowledge and thinking anti-romantic?

What do we deserve?

What makes a great life? (Is our life secretly great? Is it ethical to celebrate your life? )

What is the core of our being? What is the most “you” you there is?

What can our cultures and subcultures learn from one another?

Why is goodness less entertaining than evil? What can we do about that?

Is absurdity underrated? What are the uses of nonsense?

What is the consensus? What are the views 80 person of us would never question?

Do we want the right things? The right people?

What makes a person interesting?

What does our sanity cost us? What do we do to conform to society's ideas of the sane?

What is more valuable - passion or patience?

Is the outside a good reflection of the inside?

What are our double standards? Is hypocrisy a healthy reaction to a complicated world?
