Welcome to the Socrates Cafe in Madrid. MATADERO EDITION

LOCATION: Paseo de Matadero, wooden benches.

IMPORTANT about the venue:

* I will sit at a wooden table in the paseo of Matadero. I will release a picture closer to the time and date, so you can recognize us.
* Feel free to bring snacks and drinks
* It might get cold in the evening please don't forget a jacket
* If the weather unexpectedly drops, we will cancel and do it the week after.

IMPORTANT about attendance:

*If you can't join please make sure to update your RSVP before 9 AM on Wednesday so people in the waiting list can update their plans accordingly.

At Socrates Café meetups, people discuss thought-provoking questions about life and the world we live in. We do it as a dialogue, not as a debate or a lecture.

You do not need to be a philosopher just talkative, a good listener and curious human being. In the end we end up being a group of people talking about life.

What makes these events a success are the participants, who come from all walks of life with open minds, ready to learn and form opinions through respectful discussions with others.

At the start of each meeting, the facilitator invites participants to suggest topics. We then vote and choose the most popular topic for discussion.

RULES

Please be on time! We will start at 19:00 so if you arrive late, please join quietly. If you are a first timer, make sure you take extra time for finding the location.

If something unexpected happens and you can't join, please update your RSVP as soon as possible.

You may disagree with others, but please do so respectfully without personal attacks.
