We are going to take a trip into the ethereal with this upcoming topic on consciousness. How can we explain our awareness of ourselves, one another and the world outside the self? Does this awareness have any degree of mutuality or shared awareness? What role might our mental capabilities play in consciousness? What about sleep compared to our waking moments? Is there any means other than neuroscience to aid in our understanding of this subject? Are there types or levels of consciousness? So, there will be plenty of aspects to pull into our discussion for our next Socrates Café.
