What are we after when we speak of ‘good’ in our lives?
Details
What is the term ‘good’ used in our desires and daily experience? We say, “They are a good person. I had a good education, a good holiday, a good hamburger.” We greet one another, “Good morning.” Or it can be used as a noun: she gave away 50% of her income for the greater good, he volunteered to fight poverty for the greater good. How does this word function in our usage? How does ‘good’ differ’ from ‘bad’? Can something only appear to be good versus its underlying reality? It seems obvious enough until we stop and take a look at its various components.
Join us this upcoming Tuesday evening at Third Space Smithfield for a facilitated conversation about 'good'.
NOTE: we ask for a 3 Euro donation to cover costs via Revolut or coin on the evening.
