Are news headlines telling us the whole truth, or are we getting biased representations of reality?

U.S. alliances around the world are being stress-tested in real time, painfully dragging Americans, and their global counterparts, along for the ride. We search for information in the pursuit of staying an informed society, and in this pursuit, we know that we'll encounter bias. But do we ever stop to ask whose biases we're accepting and whether we even want, or need, them at all?
