What Is a Dream?
Details
We will be meeting at the Southeast Library in Room C.
"For in dreams, we enter a world that's entirely our own…”— Albus Dumbledore
Dreams have been believed to be visions of the future or messages from the divine. Science tells us that dreams are formed from electrical impulses that bring together thoughts and memories; they are a way for the brain to consolidate daily memories. Yet, whatever dreams are believed or evidenced to be, they can still feel mysterious to us. Perhaps the mystery isn’t just in how our minds create these worlds, but why they leave such a lingering mark on us long after we wake… Real, random, or something else entirely: what is a dream to you?
