Karen Bastin is a Lead Technical Services Analyst at MasterCard with almost 20 years of experience in tech support. With a background in product and software analysis, Karen’s expertise lies in driving innovation and efficiency, while her diverse range of hobbies outside of work showcases her creativity and passion for life and travel.

Aaron Shortt
Aaron is a Senior Manager at Prove, leading the Global SRE function. Aaron has been working in many of the staples of the Irish technology industry, including Workday, Workhuman, Intercom and a stint at Aquatrace where he led the company through its initial seed. Aaron has worked with multinational companies in SaaS, FinTech, Games development, ConTech and more since graduating from DIT Comp Sci back when Kevin Street was still standing.

Klaudia Kazanowska
Klaudia Kazanowska is a technical analyst at MasterCard, with over 6 years of experience in a client service environment. She has a strong foundation of 3.5 years in the financial/banking sector and an additional 3 years in the technology industry, which brings a unique blend of skills to her role. Her education journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Financial Consulting as well as a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is a passionate technology enthusiast, an LGBT+ advocate and an ardent animal lover.

Lais Carvalho
Lais is an active member of the Python community, being the first black female board member of Python Ireland, an organiser of the EuroPython Conference and HumbleData events, a non-profit organisation focused on mentoring underrepresented minorities on Python and Data Science. Lais is an experienced developer advocate and speaker who is passionate about leadership and volunteering. She now works as a Software Developer at Workday Inc. building system monitoring tools. Lais is excited about food, documentation, and communication. Her main core values are courage and kindness.
