Chinese Lantern Festival at the zoo.

We will meet inside the zoo by the Globe Fountain. We can wander together or separately, however you choose. I have not been to the zoo's lantern festival, but did go to one they had at the fairgrounds and had a good time taking lantern pics.

This will be taking picture in the dark, when you would normally drag out your tripod, but the zoo is not in favor of tripods or monopods (tripping hazards). So, you will have to have a steady hand or use nearby objects to steady the camera. That being said, the lanterns are fairly bright and we can probably get pics handheld. Our Ms. Amanda is going this week and I hope she will share her experience and tips with us.

We are going on a week night hoping for slightly smaller crowds. If you can't meet with us then feel free to go on another night and share your pics with us.
