In his time with Apple, of which became the fastest growing company in American history at the time, going from zero to a billion in sales when he was in his thirties. He later returned to Apple at Steve Jobs' request after Jobs also returned.

But John's impact extends far beyond Apple's early days. He led Apple's $10 billion education business for almost 20 years, advocating for a radical shift in learning. John is a passionate champion of challenge-based learning, believing technology should be a "mental bicycle" empowering creativity, not just an "exercise cycle" for rote tasks.
