Being Agile Vs Practicing Agile

In this session we'll give some of our thoughts on the process of how software should be developed. How can you reliably achieve time, cost and quality goals for your software?

This covers aspects in how you design your software as well as the day-to-day process of running a software team.

We'll also pick apart the assumptions behind Agile development and how Agile principles can adversely affect your delivery if applied blindly.

We're trying a new day (Tuesday) as feedback we got was that Mondays wasn't a great day for many people. We historically ran on Mondays as it was the only day available at our old host, however we have a lot more freedom at Adslot. We'll see how this works for people. We could potentially run on Wednesday as well.
