Domain Driven Design with Event Sourcing - Brian Donahue

Micro-services, event-driven architecture, and durable messaging are all the rage in software these days. While this talk will cut across those topics in many ways, we will focus on the ideas of Command and Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS) and Event Sourcing - two techniques that can ease understanding and communication of domain logic in Domain Driven Design, as well as provide many other benefits such as testability, auditing, data mining, and scalability.

We'll also take a look at EventStore, an interesting product that combines aspects of event storage, pub/sub, and data mining to facilitate this type of development.
