Meet up at Socrates UK 2023 (conference in swindon)

SoCraTes UK is an International Software Craft and Testing unconference happening in Swindon June 1st-4th at Alexandra House, Whittingham Dr, Wroughton, Swindon SN4 0QJ

I try to make it every year and have experienced several big jumps in my personal development from attending and found it to be incredible value. The atmosphere is lovely, I've found it always filled with enthusiastic, caring, and thoughtful people ready to share what they know. If you've never visited an unconference before and are a bit disillusioned by the corporate marketing events that some standard conferences can turn into then I highly recommend reading up about the format and seeing if you can make it to a SoCraTes!

There's an incredibly good value training day happening for the first time at a SoCraTes UK this year which is a great opportunity for new and experienced developers alike

To attend you'll need to buy a ticket from the conference website, just signing up to this event isn't enough, the reason I'm creating this event here because sometimes it's unnerving attending a conference for the first time if you don't know people so this is a way for people in Bristol who are going or thinking about it to connect before the event and make plans - the conference is participant driven so we could also think about things we might want to present or share at the conference together
