GenerativeAI Workshop

We're hosting a GenAI Dojo with AWS and OVO Energy at its Bristol HQ. Join us for an evening of coding, AI, food and drinks! Come and code along, share ideas, discuss best practices and learn from Software Crafters Bristol and Codurance and AWS engineers.

What’s the format?

After a short intro, we’ll get into groups/pairs or work solo, whatever people feel most comfortable with, and start building.

At this month's Dojo, we're looking at Generative AI. You'll get some hands-on experience directly with the Foundation Models themselves and discover how easy it is to incorporate these technologies into your applications.

We'll look at 2 simple scenarios:
The first will be the creations of images based on the text you type.
The second will be the ability to provide a Large Language Model a document and then to interrogate and summarise it in natural language.

All you need is a laptop for browser access and minimal coding skills.

This session is about collaborating with others, becoming a better developer and building your network, in a fun, relaxed environment.
We'll be sharing ideas, discussing best practices and using this as an opportunity to learn from our fellow Software Crafters Bristol coders.

Pizza and drinks will be provided, with vegetarian and vegan options available.
