For our February Software Crafters Leeds meetup Codurance is delighted to partner up with the team at Aire Logic to discuss approaches to software modernisation!

** NOTE: This event will take place at Aire Logic's office at 24-26, Aireside House, Aire St, Leeds LS1 4HT **

This event promises an evening of engaging discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities focused on the critical theme of software modernisation. We hope you’ll come away with some new ideas to tackle your most pressing challenges and find a path to modernisation within your own organisation.

Format
Rather than formal presentations, we are giving everyone attending an opportunity to shape the agenda to focus on your preferences. Our event will therefore be run “unconference” style where you’ll be given the chance to co-create the topics to be discussed. Some ideas to get you started include:

  • Options for modernising software
  • Patterns
  • Reducing anxiety around legacy code
  • How to take safe steps from current to future state
  • Strategies for working with legacy code
  • Working without breaking things
  • Managing change
  • Bringing your teams on the journey
  • Process, skills and culture changes
  • Path to modernisation whilst maintaining BAU

If you’d like to share your ideas before the event you may do so by filling in this form.
