Project-based Mini-Hackathon!

Hi all,

Once a month we hold a "mini-hackathon" where we code from 10 AM to about 4:00 PM at which point we do a little show-and-tell where you are welcome to demo what you did that day (totally optional). It is a loosely structured event where we break off into groups and you can work on your own project, or hop into someone else's!

The Platform Innovation Centre is located at 407 9 Avenue SE, Calgary. If you're arriving from the street, please enter through the far east doors off 9 Avenue SE. If you're parking onsite, use the East Parkade elevators to access the main floor. Once you exit the elevators, you'll find the pay station and building entrance nearby.

Parking is available in the Platform Parkade, accessible from 9 Avenue SE and 3 Street SE, and is managed by the Calgary Parking Authority. Payment can be made at the pay stations in the parkade lobbies or through the Calgary Parking Authority app using Zone 9062. Please note that payment is required at all times, including evenings and weekends, although rates are reduced outside of peak hours.

Please bring project ideas, or come ready to code and hop into someone else's project, whatever you prefer. If you are able to bring a laptop, that is ideal.

As usual, most of us are not experts in what we're working on, the goal is to get together and learn as a group.
