🔌 Frontend 2021 - Yes! We can use it!

In the last couple of years, most of our development, especially HTML & CSS, has been limited by an unavoidable force called Internet Explorer. While we were able to use newer JavaScript features with the help of polyfills and Babel, newer features in the HTML and CSS world have just been inaccessible. With Microsoft dropping support for IE, we finally have access to so much stuff that’s been implemented into all other browsers in the meantime.
So, what did we miss? What’s new and the most important question is "can I (finally) use?

Quentin Albert is a Senior Software Engineer at adesso SE in Dortmund. He is passionate about developing user interfaces and loves CSS.
