In small groups you will learn to analyze situations from various perspectives and to build your strategy by working on real-world cases using the EM Kata approach. If you are a Tech or Team Lead, you'll gain insights into the daily work of an EM and acquire the necessary skills to start your leadership career.

🔑 What is EM Kata?EM Kata is a sandbox for Engineering Managers and aspiring leaders to practice their skills in a safe environment, rather than learning through trial and error.

👥 Who Are the Organizers?

Oleksandr Golub (https://www.linkedin.com/in/oleksandrgolub/)Over two decades of experience in Software Engineering, with half of it in leadership positions. Extensive experience across various domains. Worked in companies of different sizes, from startups to large enterprises like eBay.

Jose Antonio Pio Gil (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jose-antonio-pio-gil-7137912/)Engineer Leader, SRE, and System Architect. Two decades of experience in Software Engineering. Currently leading three development teams at elopage.

🚀 This course is a pilot program
The program may changeas we aim to help you master the most essential EM skills. We will adapt the program based on group dynamics and feedback.
Focus on Startups & Scale-upswe will focus on the unique aspects of startups and scale-ups. Many approaches can also be applied to enterprises as well.
Limited Amount of ParticipantsThe course will have only two groups with 5 people in each group. The number of participants is limited to ensure quality interaction and personalized coaching.

🏝️ What if I'm on vacation?If you're on vacation, you will most likely be able to join remotely.
